Last month’s trends shifted towards what we typically expect during the spring (stats provided by DMAR): Buyers, March finished with 81% MORE listings than in February (and 15% MORE than March of 2021). A larger inventory provides you with more options to choose from. Sellers, average sales prices jumped to a historic high while days on the market decreased. Demand is still very high, which provides you with an excellent chance to get an incredible return on your home. And we had 26% more closings than in February. Business is getting done. With interest rates increasing, we’ll see more trends shift. Is this a challenging market? You bet.
